You need to pay to use ad-block feature

In Canada they are asking me to pay $1.99/month in order to use the ad block feature.

A one time fee would be understandable, however, monthly subscription fee is ridiculous. Considering the fact that in order to provide the ad-block feature they do not need server or other resources to warrant the continuous fee.
